Important Operational Context
Unlike social networks, forums, or file-sharing hubs, AP Score Hub does NOT operate as an open user-generated content (UGC) platform:
- Users cannot upload documents, PDFs, images, or test files to our servers.
- There are no public discussion boards, comment threads, or blog submission forms.
- All materials published across this site are authored by our team or referenced for mathematical and educational modeling.
Copyright Standards & Educational Fair Use
We respect the intellectual property rights of authors, creators, and testing organizations.
References to Advanced Placement® exam structures, section weight percentages, historical scoring boundaries, and public rubric criteria are sourced from officially released Course and Exam Descriptions (CED) published by the College Board. Such references are utilized strictly under the Fair Use doctrine of United States copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 107) for non-profit educational instruction, scholarship, commentary, and statistical estimation.
Notice of Copyright Infringement Requirements
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of an owner, and you believe that any material available on AP Score Hub infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal notification pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
Statutory Requirements for a Valid DMCA Notice
To be effective, your notice must be in writing and include all of the following:
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the Infringing Material: The exact URL(s) on
https://apushcalculator.comwhere the allegedly infringing material is located, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it. - Contact Information of the Notifier: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and direct email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement containing the exact phrase: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- Accuracy & Perjury Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
- Signature: A physical or verified electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
Incomplete notices that omit required statutory components cannot be processed under § 512(c)(3).
Penalties for False or Misleading Claims (§ 512(f))
Warning Regarding Misrepresentations under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f)
Under Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to substantial liability for damages, including court costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or website operator. Please ensure that fair use and other legal defenses have been evaluated prior to filing.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If material you contributed was removed or disabled as a result of a mistaken DMCA notice, you may submit a formal counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
A valid counter-notification must be in writing and include: (a) identification of the material that has been removed or disabled; (b) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; (c) your legal name, address, and telephone number; (d) consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district; and (e) your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A), AP Score Hub maintains an explicit policy to terminate or restrict website access for any user or contributor who repeatedly infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
